Welcome to Metro Car Wash & Detailing (“Metro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website located at metrocarwashanddetailing.com (the “Site”), our online booking system, and the car wash and detailing services we provide at our facility located at 1510 N. Van Buren Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202 (the “Location”) or on-site at a location you designate, where such on-site service is offered (collectively, the “Services”).

By visiting the Site, booking an appointment, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or our Services.

1. Our Services

Metro offers a range of car wash and vehicle detailing services, including but not limited to:

  •     Presidential Wash & Express Detail
  •     Full-Service Hand Wash
  •     Economy Wash (Exterior Only)
  •     Engine Package (requires purchase of at least an Economy Wash)
  •     Detail Package 1: Exterior Package
  •     Detail Package 2: Exterior Paint Restoration
  •     Detail Package 3: Deep Interior Clean
  •     Detail Package 4: Complete Detail
  •     Detail Package 5: Showroom Detail

Descriptions, inclusions, and pricing for each package are set out on the Site and may be updated by Metro from time to time without prior notice. Pricing may vary based on vehicle size, condition, and type (e.g., car, SUV, truck, van). Custom or add-on services may be available upon request and are subject to a separate quote.

2. Appointments, Walk-Ins & Availability

Presidential Wash & Express Detail, Full-Service Hand Wash, and Economy Wash are offered on a first-come, first-served, walk-in basis and do not require an appointment.

Engine Package and Detail Packages 1 through 5 require scheduling in advance, either by phone, email, or through our online booking form on the Site.

Our regular hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Sunday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, subject to change for holidays or unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to post any temporary changes to our hours on the Site.

For advance bookings, Metro may require full or partial payment at the time of scheduling, as indicated during the booking process. We reserve the right to decline, reschedule, or cancel an appointment due to weather, equipment issues, staffing, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, and will attempt to notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment. Metro reserves the right to apply a cancellation fee, or to retain some or all of an advance payment, for cancellations made with insufficient notice or for repeated no-shows. Any applicable cancellation policy and notice period will be communicated to you at the time of booking or confirmed by our staff.

If Metro must cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will notify you and work with you to find a new time, or issue a refund of any advance payment for the affected appointment.

4. Pricing & Payment

Prices for our Services are as posted on the Site or as quoted by our staff at the time of booking, and are subject to change without notice. Where a range of prices is shown, the final price will depend on your vehicle’s size, type, and condition, and will be confirmed before or at the time service begins.

Payment is due at the time Services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept the payment methods indicated at our Location or through our online booking system. Additional charges may apply for excessively soiled vehicles, pet hair, biohazard cleanup, or other conditions requiring extraordinary time or materials; we will attempt to inform you of any such additional charge before performing the work where practicable.

5. Customer Responsibilities

When you bring your vehicle to Metro or request on-site service, you represent and agree that:

  •     You are the owner of the vehicle, or you have the owner’s authorization to have the vehicle washed and/or detailed.
  •     You have removed, or will remove, all personal property, valuables, and loose or fragile items from the vehicle prior to service.
  •     You have disclosed any known mechanical issues, prior damage, aftermarket modifications, or fragile/aftermarket surfaces (e.g., custom paint, wraps, prior windshield chips) that may affect the service.
  •     The vehicle is in roadworthy, operable condition sufficient for our staff to safely move it as needed to perform the Services.

Metro is not responsible for personal items left in a vehicle. Please check your vehicle for personal belongings before drop-off.

6. Vehicle Condition & Limitation of Liability

Metro’s staff use commercially reasonable care and industry-standard products and techniques when washing and detailing vehicles. However, some vehicles may have pre-existing conditions — such as prior paint damage, weakened trim, worn seals, cracked windshields, aftermarket wraps or coatings, or interior staining — that can be affected by the washing or detailing process despite our best efforts.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metro’s liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Metro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use of a vehicle, arising from our Services, except to the extent such damage is caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

If you believe your vehicle was damaged while in our care, please notify our staff before leaving the Location, or contact us as soon as reasonably possible afterward, so that we may inspect and address the issue.

7. Satisfaction & Re-Dos

If you are not satisfied with the quality of a completed service, please let our staff know before leaving the Location, or contact us within a reasonable time after service, so that we can evaluate the concern and, where appropriate, offer to re-clean the affected area at no additional charge. Refunds are provided at Metro’s discretion.

8. Online Booking & Website Use

When you use our online booking form, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your name, contact information, vehicle make and model, and requested appointment details. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with the proper working of the Site, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or our systems. All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and the Metro name and branding, is owned by or licensed to Metro and may not be copied or used without our permission.

9. Privacy

Information you provide to us through the Site or our booking system — such as your name, email, phone number, and vehicle information — is used to schedule and provide Services, communicate with you, and improve our business. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. For questions about how we handle your information, please contact us using the information below.

10. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as our social media pages, which are not owned or controlled by Metro. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.

11. Changes to These Terms

Metro may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, or applicable law. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Site or our Services after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
